জ্বালানি তেলের দাম কমছে না কেন? সে দিকে কারো ভ্রুক্ষেপ নেই । শুধু কখন ক্ষমত পাবো সে চিন্তা নিয়েই ব্যাস্ত ।ক্ষমতা পেলে যেন সব কিছু উল্টিয়ে ফেলবে ।অথচ দেশে তেলের দাম ,চালের দাম ,রসুনের দাম . ডালের দাম ,.এককথায় যা সাধারন মানুষের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় তা শুধু বাড়ছেই অথছ সে সব সাধারন মানুষের পক্ষ হয়ে কথা বলার মত মানুষ নেই ।তারা প্রতিনিয়ত নিজেদের চিন্তা নিয়েই ব্যাস্ত।আজ নিউজ পড়ে জানতে পারলাম .জ্বালানি মন্ত্রি নসরুল হামিদ বলছে জ্বালানি তেলের দাম কমানোর কোন পরিকল্পনা সরকারের নেই। তিনি আরো বলেন আন্তর্জাতিক বাজারে জ্বালানি তেলের দাম গত বছর ধরে বাড়তি রয়েছে। তাছাড়া ডলারের সাথে সাথে টাকার বিনিময় হার ও বাড়ছে । এই ভাবে চলতে থাকলে আগামী বছর থেকে বাংলাদেশ পেট্রোলিয়াম কর্পোরেশন লোকসানের সম্মুখিন হবে।যুক্তি সঙ্গত কারনে আন্তর্জাতিক বাজারে তেলের দাম কমানো বাড়ানোর সাথে সাথে দেশের মধ্যে তেলের দাম কমানো বাড়ানো সম্ভবপর হয় না। জ্বালানি মন্ত্রি নসরুল হামিদ বলেন ,এর আগে তেলের দাম ভর্তুকি দেওয়ায় সরকার ২৭ হাজার কোটি টাকা ঋনের দায়ে পড়ে ,দ্বীতিয় দফায় তেলের দাম কমানো হলে সরকার আবারও লোকসানের মধ্যে পড়বে।তিনি আরো বলেন তেলের দাম কমানো হলে তার সুফল সাধারন জনগন সরাসরি ভোগ করতে পারেনা।

He also said that if the oil prices are reduced, its benefits can be directly consumed by the public.
